In honor of Dapo’s 2-day writing session with David Archuleta (with @PriscillaRenea) coming to a successful close, we are posting a video of David singing “Running” from his debut album, DAVID ARCHULETA. The show was taped in front of a live audience at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Dapo was beyond excited to share the stage with two legends!! Dapo performed two songs for the show: “What Child Is This” and “O Tannenbaum”. Enjoy!!

Justin Bieber’s debut album, MY WORLD, which was just released less than 2 months ago, has been certified PLATINUM by RIAA!! Woohoo!! This is just the beginning!! The second part of MY WORLD will be released in March and his first single off of the second release (song title: “Baby”) will be released in 7 days on iTunes! Go get em Justin! Congratulations is also in order for Dapo and all of the other producers/songwriters on the project!! 2010 is off to a great start!

Dapo was honored to not only work with two music legends, but to also work on a song for such a wonderful cause. The kids from PURPLE SONGS CAN FLY are children who have cancer and they are given an awesome opportunity to work with composers to write and record their own music. Dapo channels his jazz roots in his version of “Down In New Orleans” (written by Randy Newman for Walt Disney’s THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG – in theaters nationwide this Friday, 12/11).
