Dapo had some top secret meetings with record label heads in NYC this week… the highlight being his meeting with the legendary, Clive Davis!
Taking a “piano break” during a session at Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles, California. We recorded a song for the Obama Campaign called, “Change”
This is the group KUSH that I used to be part of in Nigeria. We were signed to a label in the US, DKG MUSIC, and then after the label broke up, we went our separate ways. Lara is still a very successful singer, TY is now a world-renowned photographer and Emem is an attorney is Lagos, Nigeria.
I had the privilege and honor of performing with Oscar Brown Jr. on the Tavis Smiley Show before his passing.
