Frank Ocean is on the cover of Fader Magazine’s Fall Fashion Issue. Frank is a member of Odd Future and has a few joints on the new Kanye/Jay-Z album “Watch The Throne”. We’re so happy for Frank (formerly “Lonny Breaux”)! His talent is undeniable.

Dapo Attends “2010 Teen Choice Awards Swag Social” Honoring the Charity: Children of the Night

Dapo took a break from the studio this afternoon to attend the “2010 Teen Choice Awards Talent Swag Social” at the London West Hollywood (Hosted by California Queen and benefiting the “Children of the Night” charity)

Jennifer Tapiero (StarCam Host) chatted with Dapo about what it’s like working with Demi Lovato (and about Demi’s “new sound”), his song with Matthew “Mdot” Finley “Fire” in Camp Rock 2, what it’s like working with the hottest pop star in the world, Justin Bieber (“Bigger” & “Overboard”), how cool is Jesse McCartney and his new hot dance song, “Up”, on the Step Up 3D soundtrack & in the movie (Step Up 3D hits theaters today!), and what it’s like to write with American Idol sweetheart, David Archuleta.  We’ll post the interview as soon as it becomes available!

Miss California Teen USA (Emma Baker) tried out her interview chops with Dapo and they realized they have “Nigeria” in common when she heard he was from Nigeria, she revealed that her father is from Nigeria!  It’s an interesting story and you’ll have to wait until the interview is released!  (We’ll post a link!)  Oh, and this interview was shot in 3D!! Perfect timing since today Step Up 3D hits theaters nation-wide!!

Congratulations to Justin Bieber on MY WORLD Going Platinum!

Justin Bieber’s debut album, MY WORLD, which was just released less than 2 months ago, has been certified PLATINUM by RIAA!! Woohoo!! This is just the beginning!! The second part of MY WORLD will be released in March and his first single off of the second release (song title: “Baby”) will be released in 7 days on iTunes! Go get em Justin! Congratulations is also in order for Dapo and all of the other producers/songwriters on the project!! 2010 is off to a great start!

Justin Bieber’s debut album, MY WORLD, drops today!!  Dapo is one of the writers/producers on the track “Bigger”.  According to Justin’s Wikipedia page:  The first edition of the album will be released on November 17, 2009, via Island Records, and will be re-issued around February 14, 2010, with new songs.  Buy BOTH!
