In case you missed it over the holiday season, the video below is from the David Foster/Andrea Bocelli “My Christmas” Special (2009), as part of the PBS Great Performances series. The show was taped in front of a live audience at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Dapo was beyond excited to share the stage with two legends!! Dapo performed two songs for the show: “What Child Is This” and “O Tannenbaum”. Enjoy!!

The song Dapo wrote and produced with David Foster and Olivia Newton-John is available on iTunes!  Dapo was honored to not only work with two music legends, but to also work on a song for such a wonderful cause.  The kids from PURPLE SONGS CAN FLY are children who have cancer and they are given an awesome opportunity to work with composers to write and record their own music.  They wrote the inspiring lyrics to this beautiful song! Dapo Performs on Stage with Andrea Bocelli for the David Foster/Andrea Bocelli PBS Great Performances “My Christmas” Special Airing on PBS – Now!

Dapo was personally invited by multi-Grammy-winning producer, David Foster, to perform on stage at a live taping at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, CA for the David Foster and Andrea Bocelli “My Christmas” special airing on PBS later this month.  Click here for show preview & show air times.

Special guests include:  Natalie Cole, Mary J. Blige, Reba McEntire, Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, & The Muppets, as well as a visit with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Song highlights are “White Christmas,” “Oh Holy Night,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “Jingle Bells,” “Silent Night,” “The Christmas Song,” “What Child Is This,” and more.”

Dapo Performs With David Foster & Andrea Bocelli at The Kodak Theater!

Dapo had the honor and privilege of performing on stage with David Foster and the incredible, Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli, at the Kodak Theater (Hollywood, CA) last night.  The performance was for the David Foster/Andrea Bocelli PBS Special, “My Christmas” which was taped in front of a (packed) live audience and will air on PBS on December 1, 2009. (Dapo is pictured below backstage with his manager, Tom Maffei.)
