Dapo channeled his jazz roots when Disney called on him to write & produce songs for Bayou Boogie – Toe Tapping Tunes Inspired by The Princess and the Frog. The video below on YouTube has both songs: “Everyday Princess” (lyrics by Jamie Houston) and “Sing Away Your Blues” (lyrics by Jessi Alexander) – Vocals by Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana. Dapo wrote and produced two fun jazz songs on the new Princess and the Frog-inspired CD: Bayou Boogie: Inspired By Princess & Frog! Be sure to pick up your copy on March 16th! Dapo had a fun time in the studio with Princess Tiana herself (Anika Noni Rose) when they recorded “Everyday Princess” and “Sing Away Your Blues”!
