Dapo channeled his jazz roots when Disney called on him to write & produce songs for Bayou Boogie – Toe Tapping Tunes Inspired by The Princess and the Frog. The video below on YouTube has both songs: “Everyday Princess” (lyrics by Jamie Houston) and “Sing Away Your Blues” (lyrics by Jessi Alexander) – Vocals by Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana. “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam”, which premiered in the USA and Canada on The Disney Channel on Friday, September 3, is the number 1 cable movie of 2010! Dapo had another great session today with Disney’s newest princess, Princess Tiana: Tony Award-Winning, Anika Noni Rose for The Princess and the Frog. Dapo had fun talking with her about the accuracy of her African accent in the HBO series, The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. (Starring Anika Noni Rose and Jill Scott.)
